Happy Holidays!

THIS WEEKENDS MUSIC (November 28th)

This Saturday the 28th - For those who missed last weekends show with local legend Jimmy Z, you are in luck! He is coming back with his band "Acoustic Roadkill". This is a stand up act with Jimmy and friends, including several well known area musicians. He will even be joined by our very own Henry Frecon on sax. So come out at 8pm and get a seat for a trip that spans Americana folk, jazz, and more. Our candlelit atmosphere will make you will feel like you just were transported to a New Orleans jazz club. Cover charge is $4 and includes a free fresh brew!

DECEMBER 4th & 5th, celebrates the opening of the Holiday season in Boyertown!

Friday night the 4th welcomes the Boyertown Holiday Open House tour. For those who have never done this unique event, buy your tickets at several local establishments or go to the website www.boyertownpa.org. You will be transported back in time touring the local businesses and Victorian era homes via trolley as everyone rolls out the red carpet with Christmas goodies, music, and more. At the Hard Bean we will be featuring Porter Shimer on Piano playing and signing Christmas tunes all evening long. The Holiday tour starts for us at 5pm and goes until 10pm. We will also be visited by a special Boyertown treat, the Boyertown Brassmen! They will stop by around 8:30pm with a full horn brass section playing all the Christmas favorites!

Then on Saturday the 5th, its Chillin on Main, where Boyertown opens up main street for the kids! Santa comes to town along with ice carving, kids activities and more. At the Bean we will feature Miss Maggie from 2-3pm sing along with the kids. We will also have Carriage Rides from 1-3pm at $5 per person. Then from 8:30 to close our own Mike Holiday will be doing a Christmas Music Special right in the Living Room for a $3 cover!

Finally on December 7th we will be hosting Story Time from 10:30am-11:15am. Bring your kids and have a copy of coffee and watch them be amazed by our own local story teller.

not related to this post, but i just wanted to say, i had a caramel cappuccino this morning at the suggestion of the kind woman behind the counter, and holy goodness, it was simply amazing tastebud-wise ! many compliments !
